Save the last forests of Malaita Island
The government of the day as planned as a priority the conversion of around 9000 hectares of Tropical rain-forest into oil palms. This petition is to prevent the planned oil palm project that will convert rich diverse forests of Malaita into dead uniform rows of palm trees. Let us save the last remaining forests of our island and conserve the rich biodiversity contained within.
